Hampstead is a charming New Hampshire town with a deep history dating back to its founding in 1749, when Gov. Author Biography

The Hampstead Public Library has been a part of the community since opening its doors in 1888. The Hampstead Historical Society maintains the town museum and acts as a local time capsule. Invaluable resources that helped bring these photographs to life include Maurice I. Randall's History of Hampstead New Hampshire, Harriette E. Noyes's A Memorial History of Hampstead, and Town of Hampstead annual reports dating back to 1856.
