Memory is a funny thing; at least it is for me. It's hard to pinpoint exactly where I should start but I think writing this novel is a good beginning. We all have those moments that define us. The ones that make us question our existence and challenge us to understand its meaning.

I was fourteen in 1999 and a freshman in high school. What I experienced during that autumn weekend in late October changed everything. This is my story of childhood friendships, the infatuation with the opposite sex, the bond between brothers and the universal recollection of events that got most of us through those Hard Times of Childish Maturity.
