Author Biography

Joe R. Fowler was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, graduated from Wichita Falls High School, and received his BS with honors, MS, and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University. He worked two years for Texaco in drilling research and then co-founded Stress Engineering Services, Inc., (SES) in 1972. He became President in 1984.
