"Healing Harps Ensemble Book 1" is designed to accommodate harpists at beginner through intermediate levels of playing. Typically there is at least one harp part designed for the early beginner. The layout and parts are simple with minimal markings to accommodate individuals with physical and neurological limitations, and as such are also ideally suited to beginning harpists. Author Biography
The pieces in the Healing Harps Ensemble books were composed and arranged by members of Healing Harps Inc, an organization established by harpist and professor of special education at NIU, Dr. Ronald Dewey Price. Proceeds go to support the charitable work of Healing Harps Inc., which includes introducing harp playing to individuals with special needs, playing the harp in clinical settings, and training harpists to work with knowledge and skill in these settings.
