Author Biography
Maine architect John Silverio was educated at the Rhode Island School of Design and also studied in Rome and at the University of Pennsyl-vania. He has designed hundreds of homes, including his own homestead and nearby studio in Lincolnville. He was joined in this effort by his son Matthew in 2000. John also enjoys drawing, painting, building and sailing small craft, playing the mandolin, and living life with his wife, Susan. His other books include The Book of the Hut and Radiance Indwelling.
