Synopsis: Hedley the Hedgehog of Sunbury Farm is set on a farm in Wales. Hedley is one of five hoglets born on the farm and it becomes obvious to his mother that Hedley has lively curiosity and a strong sense of adventure. It is a story of the brothers first summer, and Hedley's talent for getting himself into tricky situations which always have a happy ending.

Autobiography: I was born and grew up in London, England. I came to Canada in 1956 and have lived in Calgary Alberta since 1957. I first discovered hedgehogs while holidaying in the countryside and have always been fascinated by them. This book is a prequel to the first book I wrote about Hedley the Hedgehog in 1998.
