Kyla Jenee Lacey is a performing spoken word artist with a degree in history from the University of Central Florida. Her art has been featured in Huffington Post, the Root, Afropunk, George Takei, Write About Now, all Def Digital, and her mother's refrigerator. She is owned by two black cats, Kit and Kaboodle.
