Hineni - In Sarah's Tent - Paperback

by Laurie S. Sherman (Author)

HINENI is not a performance.

It is a rite.

Rooted in Jewish tradition and feminist ritual practice, HINENI: I

n Sarah's Tent invites participants into a shared act of arrival-

presence without spectacle, voice without domination,

movement without coercion.

This work unfolds as a living structure rather than a script.

It is designed to be entered and re-entered by different

communities, each time held by attention, consent,

and care. HINENI asks what becomes possible

when people gather not to explain, persuade,

or perform-but to stand fully present

to one another.

Not a book to read once.

A ritual to be entered again and again.
