It highlights their day-to-day struggles engaging in play as well as his overall sensitivities. In the end, the little girl focuses on the activities they enjoy doing together and just how special he is.

When my first son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, I made it my mission for other children and adults to help understand him. By spreading awareness, his peers would accept him for who he is. His Name is Everett is part of spreading that awareness.
