Mark Riester loves his work as an actor. He only wishes he made more money so he could quit his other job. Mark isn't entirely sure how he's supposed to tell his girlfriend, Jenna, about that job. It's not every day you have to explain you're not just an actor...you're an exorcist.

The thing is, Mark has been taunted and chased by the demon Jonas ever since he can remember. Years ago, Jonas cut him a deal. He'd craft the life Mark always wanted-a wife and an acting career-if Mark destroyed the other demon lords standing in the way of Jonas's dominion over the world. Mark is definitely not going to tell Jenna that part.

For better or for worse-though it's likely the latter-Mark accepted the demon's deal. But the agreement has corrupted him, and that corruption makes him vulnerable to the very demons that he's trying to vanquish. And his weakness could mean trouble for everyone.

Author Biography

Dave Hayes is currently a father, husband and high school teacher Having won several awards for teaching and acting, he has also published several short stories.

Hayes has a bachelor's in history and political science as well as a master's in American government from Fordham University. He also attended Boston College, where he received a master's in political philosophy.

Currently residing in upstate New York, Hayes lives with his wife, two daughters, and three dogs. This is his first novel.
