Rosaire Appel is a writer/ artist living in NYC. She is known for her abstract comics and frequently uses asemic writing in her work. Asemic writing has no semantic value, it is essentially marks on paper. This books asks: Can these be poems? Appel has created many books and her work has appeared in numerous on-line and print publications.
