Author Biography

Kimberly Bowman is the owner of So Exquisite Charleston Magazine, a multi-media magazine built on empowering people of all communities, networking within those communities, and share knowledge with the world. She graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications, a year and a half early, and moved back to her home town of Charleston to start her new life. After 2 months of being on the hunt for a job, she was unsuccessful and became depressed. But when all seemed lost, Kimberly took matters into her own hands and started a blog. What initially was a way to keep busy whiling continuing to look for work, became a full fledge business for Kimberly and what we know now as, So Exquisite Charleston. As a proud Charleston native, and dedicated entrepreneur, Kimberly hopes to motivate and inspire people to chase their dreams and be themselves as she does. "I struggled with self-esteem issues for a great deal of my life. It wasn't until I was older that I came out of that and created my own identity. I hope that I can be an example for other young girls or boys, or whoever to be who they are, and also love themselves."
