Synthia SAINT JAMES is a world renowned visual artist, author, educator, and speaker, who has written over 20 books and whose paintings grace the covers of over 75 books including books by Alice Walker, Terry McMillan, and Iyanla Vanzant. She designed the first Kwanzaa Stamp for the USPS in 1997, and the 2016 Kwanzaa Forever Stamp.
