"In The Damn Way" is a true story about the life of the author Brandy Alexander. It describes the traumas that she experienced in childhood that spilled over into her adult life. Not only that but it highlights the spiritual aspects of her life that somehow she cannot see because of what she experiences in the natural. It takes 25 years for Brandy to get, understand, and decide how these things are affecting her and how she is going to overcome them. Once she does she has to figure out how to embrace it. Revealing that she doesn't have a road map and will have to learn as she goes. It doesn't happen overnight and as she finds out may take 25 years for her to see the benefits.
