Index of Awards on Claims of the Soldiers of the War of 1812 - Paperback

Here is an alphabetically arranged index of the claims presented to the State of New York for payment for military clothing and equipment on behalf of persons who served in the New York state militia during the War of 1812. The index provides the following information on each of the 17,000 applicants: name of the applicant, town and, sometimes, county of residence, claim number, and amount of the pension allowance.
