Jim Harper is a retired widower who lives in a quiet cul-de-sac. His neighbor, Dora Pritchard, has taken to feeding a horde of feral cats. One cat stands out, a one-eyed, black tomcat she calls Inky. Her sunset feedings get out of hand as the dozens of stray cats ruin Jim's meticulously kept yard as well as his peace and quiet each evening. When Jim threatens to notify animal control to eliminate the cats, events spiral out of control. Jim is forced to take a stand against Inky and the clan of feral cats.
