Author Biography
Janette Conger was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She is of the Crow Creek Sioux tribe in Fort Thompson, South Dakota. Janette began writing poetry in 1974 as a way of hiding what was going on inside, without being judged. She has four grown children and three grand- children. She continues to write poetry and is also, working on writing children's stories. Janette currently lives in Lynnwood, Washington.
