Clint rides into the town of Kennelworth, Utah, and finds it very quiet and peaceful. Thinking that it might be a good place to get some rest and give his Tobiano some time, he soon discovers that, like most towns, there are things going on beneath the surface. He meets a local businesswoman who he thinks he might like to spend some time with, but soon discovers that she owns many businesses in town, and seems to rule the town with an iron hand.
