Elissa Haden Guest is the author of the award-winning Iris and Walter series. She lives in San Francisco, California. Christein Davenier has illustrated all ten of the Iris and Walter books, and the Very Fairy Princess books by the actress Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton. She lives in Paris.
