When any matter comes to the forefront, then all the world pays heed towards it and the rest of the matters recede to the backdrop. With the hue and cry for women's rights in India, the jeopardy faced by men has been neglected completely. The book seeks to take up the plea for gender neutral laws with respect to offences like rape, sexual harassment, domestic violence, etc which are predominantly gender-specific and assume the victimization of women alone. When the voice is raised for gender neutrality for women in all respects then why should men suffer from lack of protection available to them by law? Gender neutrality if propagated then should serve to the advantage of both the genders. With most of the countries having gender neutral laws and the number of rising offences against men there arises the need to address the issue at hand at the earliest.
