When a new priest arrives at St. Mary's Church, a little girl named Marie has a special idea to help him feel at home-a puppy named Jake!
As Jake explores his new parish, Father Matt gently shows him the beauty of the Catholic faith. Together they visit the statue of Mother Mary, learn about Jesus' love, discover the tabernacle where Jesus is present in the Eucharist, and join the parish family at Mass.
Through Jake's curious eyes and joyful heart, young readers are introduced to the warmth of parish life and the love of God that welcomes everyone.
Jake the Parish Pup is a charming story that helps children feel at home in church while learning simple truths about faith, friendship, and belonging.
