After her three sons were born and the family moved to Tacoma, WA., she went to work with her husband in the insurance industry until their retirement in 2000. At that time, they bought a motor home and traveled around the U.S. She and her husband have the distinction of being in every one of the lower 48 states. Now spend their summers in Tacoma and their winters in Yuma, AZ.
