Author Biography

For over twenty years, I worked for a large airline. I started as a Flight Engineer, moved to First Officer, was promoted to Captain and then became a 737 Instructor. That's where I gained most of my experience, But, even while flying for Piedmont Airlines, I taught King Air pilots on my days off. Soon, I became the "King Air Guy". For two decades I balanced flying for the airlines with teaching in King Airs. In 2005, I took an early retirement from Usairways and plunged into flight training full time. In addition to flying, I'm the author of several aviation training books including " The Contract Pilot's Handbook" and the King Air Training Workbooks series. I'm a blogger for Contract Pilot News and King Air Pilot and I own Executive Flight Training.
