Jessie Henderson is just starting to settle into her new life in Springdale when a murder shocks the town. Jessie had a very public argument with the victim the day before the murder, but luckily she has a cast-iron alibi that puts her beyond suspicion. None of her close friends are suspects, so Jessie has no reason to get involved in the investigation.
