Author Biography

The author, Julene Allen, a Leanin.org regional leader and chair of the Lean In Ohio Chapter works as an interviewer, specializing in telling the stories of under-recognized contributions of women leaders and innovators across the globe. Julene is a women's rights activist and journalist from Chicago. She is a passionate storyteller of women and that led to founding the 501C3 women's rights media organization, Women For Action which provides support to programs such as Lean in Ohio and Lean In Women of Color.
