Author Biography
S. Ramakrishnan is a Founder Trustee of Brahma Sabha, a not for profit organization in the United States. Brahma Sabha promotes the education of Indian arts and culture. The Ramakrishnan family has a deep interest in Sanatana Dharma, Vedas, and scriptures such as the Srimad Ramayanam, Bhagavatam, and the Bhagavad Gita. At a young age, Ramki studied select portions of the Vedas from Sri Panchapakesha Sastrigal of Kumbakonam. He and his family members were initiated into the nuances of mantra shastras by Sri Harihara Sastrigal. Ramki and his family are greatly blessed by their guru Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal who has showered upon them the many grand blessings of being in the path of devotion. He has his undergraduate degree in engineering from IIT Bombay and has completed his graduate studies from IIM Ahmedabad. Ramki, his wife Lakshmi and their two children now live in Chicago enjoying Guru's Blessings, scripture readings, satsang interactions, and sacred writings.
