Born in Erie, PA in 1940 Mr. Holmstrom grew up in an era where the country was just coming out of a deep economic depression and heading into a world war. He felt a need to write about life in those times, the family, the neighborhood, the people. The way he remembered those times. Not something you would find in your history books.
