Liam loves living on the farm. His favorite animals are the cows. His Holstein friend, Mirabell, is going to have a baby soon. Liam is so excited. He can hardly wait! In the meantime, his after school chores include milking the other cow, whose name is Betsy. His Uncle Lorne has taught him a trick with the milk in the bucket! He practices everyday on his way back to the house with his bucket. Sometimes when his mom sees him, she hollers from the house. "Liam, you quit that right now!" His friends at school tell him that he works too hard for a kid but he loves his animals and he loves his chores too because when he does them his animals are happy! Life on the farm is pretty darn good for a young boy!
