The light we can see is called visible light, meaning we can see it with our eyes. Our Sun is a star that sends out light that reaches Earth. Visible light is not an object nor is it made of atoms. We can't hold it, taste, hear it, or feel it. Also, light is not an action such as heat or force. Instead, light is the result of atoms wiggling so fast they give off a glow. The wiggling of millions and millions of atoms gives off a glow that lets us see everything in the world.
