Linn County, Kansas: A History - Paperback

by William Mitchell (Author)

"Written to give and preserve the more intimate knowledge of incidents of world-wide importance and marking an epochal period in the history of the human race. ... It is a fact that no community of equal size anywhere in the United States had so many families representative of the best Anglo-Saxon people ranging all the way from the Crusaders under Richard Coeur de Leon, at Runnymede, and down through European and English history to America with all its brilliant achievements and wonderful men. Their stories are told in this book as a truthful record of their good lives and not as an attempt at a literary exploit." An index to full names and incidents completes this work.
