My love of elephants began when as a child growing up in Brooklyn, New York I visited the zoo with my family.I was amazed at the massive size of the elephants.How could anything be so big but also so gentle.Were they always this size, I wondered.This question was answered when i saw a small baby elephant. What was unusual about this baby elephant was his love of the music playing on the zookeeper s radio.as he swayed back and forth to the beat of the music. I gave him the name Little Rumba. This is a story about a baby elephant that loves music and finds a way to share it with his family, friends and the rest of his community.
