Love and Death in Tokyo A Harold Gatewood Mystery Volume 3 After two full seasons out of baseball, Harold Gatewood continues his comeback, earning a spot with the Tokyo Cardinals. While in Tokyo he meets the beautiful, dangerous Kimiko Michi Hayato, the second in command of the largest Yakuza crime family in the city. He also meets the staggeringly gorgeous daughter of the Vice-President of China, Al Akemi Gang, and falls in love. As a result of his dangerous encounters in Spain and Cuba, Gatewood is again hunted by AIO hitmen, and crime family killers, set on Gatewood's trail by a ruthless crime boss, Daisuke Hayato, Kimiko Hayato's father. Insights into Japanese baseball, the ugly lifestyle of an underworld crime family, drugs, gambling, murder, terrorists, and assassination are interjected into the story, which is set in Japan, on the Asian continent.
