Maisie the mountain hare loves playing hide and seek with her brother Archie and their friend Thomas the ptarmigan ('tar-mi-gan' ). Archie is the best at hiding and Maisie has the keenest eyes. As the baby hares grow, their coats turn white to help them camouflage in winter. But with no snow in sight, the siblings are in danger. Can Maisie and Archie work together to stay safe?

Author Biography
Lynne Rickards was born in Canada and has called Scotland home for over twenty years. She is the author of many much-loved picture books including Lewis Clowns Around, Harris the Hero, Skye the Puffling, Rowan the Red Squirrel, Willow the Wildcat, Oran the Curious Otter and Maisie the Mountain Hare. Lynne lives in Glasgow, Scotland. Abigail Hookham is an illustrator based in Lincolnshire, England. She graduated in Children's Literature and Illustration from Goldsmiths, University of London. Abigail is the illustrator of Oran the Curious Otter and Maisie the Mountain Hare.
