Truer words were never spoken. That is exactly what being a Maryland State Trooper was for me, and so many others. In literally a lifetime of service in law enforcement, I had the honor of working alongside many men and women whose dedication to our oath is a story worth telling. From my time as a uniformed trooper, to working undercover, to becoming the third highest executive officer in the administration, I had the best of all possible worlds and opportunities. Whether it was overcoming obstacles just to wear our uniform, immersing myself in a criminal culture to facilitate an investigation, or dealing with politics at the highest level, this is a state trooper's story.
