Derrick Wallace was born in Edgbaston Birmingham. He studied Jazz Guitar at Goldsmiths University London and completed his BMus (Hons) at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
He graduated with a MA (Music) from the University of Wolverhampton. Previously, he has worked as a professional guitarist and clinician.
His main interests, apart from writing, are: playing chess, entrepreneurship and listening to all genres of music.
