by Kristina Smith (Author)

Have you ever wished, hoped and dreamed for something with all of your might? If so, then you know exactly how Max feels. Playing up on the old adage 'Be Careful What You Wish For', first-time, self-published author and illustrator Kristina Smith introduces readers to a precocious eight-year-old named Max, who want's a "REAL" mustache more than anything in the whole, entire world. Max goes to incredible lengths to grow a mustache, seemingly to no avail. He even eats liver and onions. BLEK! However, things get pretty hairy for Max when he makes a wish he can't take back-no matter how hard he tries. With it's unique page by page glossary of peculiar words, this series provides parents and teachers with GREAT vocabulary builders. The words are not only fun to say and have a cool meaning, but they also make you sound smart!
