Author Biography
Esther J. Hildahl was born in Olympia, Washington. Although she has lived most of her life in Washington State, she has also lived for shorter periods of time in Oregon, Montana, California, and Frankfurt, Germany. She graduated from Eastern Washington University and taught grades four and five for many years in the Spokane School District. She enjoys writing for children. As a child, she liked frogs and always knew her first book would be a "frog" book. The idea for Meadow Pond came about while spending many summer weekends at local lakes. Currently she is the president of Spokane Authors and Self-Publishers. She resides with her husband, Robert, and their toy poodle, Charlotte, at their home in Spokane, Washington.
