Bleuette comes from a family of moderate means, but her class mates thinks she's from a well off family because she always has new dresses. When she's invited to a fancy birthday party by the richest girl in class, she can't wait to go and see the fancy house. But will the girl learn she is just the daughter a seamstress and withdraw the invitation?

Author Biography

Mary is the author of over a dozen books, including Newlywed Games (a Crossings Book Club alternate feature selection), Cinda's Surprise (1st place readers favorite 2001), The Captain's Wife (2nd place readers favorite 2009), Reckless Rogue (2009 BOTY finalist), and Love Notes (2008 BOTY 1st place historical novella).
