Melvin the Monster - Paperback

Reggie is playing in his room when suddenly Melvin the Monster appears, becoming his imaginary friend. Reggie has never had a friend as cool as Melvin come to play, especially never one that is a monster. Melvin tempts Reggie to do some things against the rules, and it seems okay for a while until Reggie is left to pay the consequences alone. Reggie soon realizes that if his "friend" isn't helping him do what is right, then he is the wrong kind of friend to have. Reggie decides to obey the rules and chooses to not be friends with Melvin. However, Melvin tries to entice Reggie to change his mind. Reggie stays firm in his conviction to choose right; soon Melvin shrinks and is gone for good. Reggie is proud for doing the right thing.
