"Memoir of a secret kept" is the story about finding peace from an abusive childhood. I started this memoir after fighting a nightly battle of suppressed memories of my childhood for years. One night, after being unable to sleep for another night, and unable to deal with the pain of reliving another memory I decided to write. Finally! being able to tell my truth has set me free from the secrets I've kept buried deep within. I hope that my story will help someone else going through childhood trauma find the courage, the strength to tell their truth, find healing to live the life that was destined, and not sulk over the one that was stolen.
