Travel with us to the past. The place is a crossroads called Aurelian Springs. In the late 1800s a few locals started a school. By 1950, it had grown to 500 students. Many graduates embarked upon illustrious careers in the larger world. Many others stayed home and farmed, taught school, took jobs in local industries.
