Author Biography

Christy Murphy's work has appeared in award-winning publications such as Cat Fancy, the Miami Herald, Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel, and Pulp Magazine. As a comedian, she has been on television and radio shows including CNN's Showbiz Today, Australia's Seven News and CBS News. The LA Times called her comedy show "a kinder, gentler, more thoughtful comedy night," and it was named both LA Weekly's "Pick of the Week" and "Best of LA." The heroine of her mystery series, Mom and Christy's Cozy Mysteries, is inspired by her mom, who really is as smart as her fictional counterpart. Her upcoming series featuring Eddie Harlow is based on her time working with a private investigation firm in Glendale, CA. (Yes, there was whisky in the office. No, she didn't carry a gun.) She lives in Los Angeles with her fiance, David.
