It's 1974 and young stonemason Harlan Kemp rides West in his vintage Land Rover truck to Montana in search of independence. The Old West is gone, but violent elements of it still intrude, and he finds himself a target, along with Kay, a sharpshooting cowgirl, her family and their ranch. Obsessed with visions of hidden gold, the villains escalate their attacks, and blood flows. Having pursued the wrong woman, Harlan may have found his own gold in Kay, and the two take their stand. And maybe that Old West isn't really gone after all.
