by Gunilla Caulfield (Author)

The third book in the Annie Quitnot mystery series. Annie Quitnot, reference librarian at the Rockport Library, gets drawn into another mystery when her colleague Jean collapses behind the library desk. Jean's husband is mysteriously missing, and cannot be reached. When police check at the house, it looks partly empty. Who is moving? When it turns into murder, the newly-wed Annie puts her formidable brain to work, to the chagrin of her husband, library director Duncan Langmuir. As usual, she enlists her friend Sally to act as "Dr. Watson." To Annie, no guess is too wild or far-fetched, and in the end, Annie's involvement has some unexpected consequences.

Author Biography

Gunilla Caulfield was born and educated in Stockholm, Sweden, before immigrating to the United States. After ten years as an art dealer in Boston she moved to Rockport, a small fishing town and art colony on Cape Ann, "That Other Cape," as they say on Cape Cod. She served as reference librarian at the Rockport Public Library, which is fictionally depicted in her mysteries. Along with husband Thomas and a steadily growing clan, she divides her time between Rockport, Massachusetts, and Bridgton, Maine. Author webpage: gunillacaulfield.com
