We may never fully value our childhood until it becomes a memory and by then we often fail to recall all the events and people who've touched our lives and helped shape us into the person we turned out to be. Some people have a minimal impact on us, while others influence us to the point of changing the way we think, act, and feel. There were three such people in Little Missy's life, her grandmother, Mr. Dodie and Miss Odessa. They were a part of her mother's childhood and that summer they became a part of hers, as well. She had no idea her grandmother's house would become a memory that would bring a mixture of great joy and deep sorrow. It would also become a memory that she would cherish forever.
