Set among the hardscrabble lives of people struggling to survive emotionally, culturally, and economically, Name the Boy: Short Stories reveals the small victories and crushing realities of lives lived on the edge of terror and redemption. The characters of Name the Boy--fathers and sons, wives and husbands, families and friends--find themselves at crossroads, faced with decisions that could cost them more than they dreamed. Yet despite the rough outcomes, these characters find grace and humor in their lives.
