This is book two of the Transporter Series. The author, in this series, seeks out historical situations within a community that would be of interest to young adults. The hope is to interest a younger generation to carry on the work of archivist and historical society people. From an old deed in a courthouse, Patrick, his sister, and Chuck's sister, follow the seller of some land in Franklin County, Tennessee back in time. Through unusual conditions, brought about by one mysterious Zadock, the teens are welcomed into the 1700s Cherokee town of Chota. They meet Nanyehi and learn how her family connects back to the deed in Franklin County.
