Author Biography
Shalom Michael Akili is a health and exercise science instructor at several community colleges in San Diego. He created a physical education curriculum that was employed at the Early Middle College. After earning his doctorate in Educational Leadership, Akili continues his research on student retention and persistence in educational institutions.
