A sequel to "A New Land Beckoned,"this is essentially a compilation of information gleaned from the passenger lists of ships that arrived at Galveston between the years 1847 and 1861. It also continues the story of the German immigration to Texas during this formative period of Texas history. From all sources researched the compiler located a total of 105 passenger lists, compiling therefrom this master list of 5,600 German immigrants.
