A stranger checks in at the Davis Inn during the winter storm of '93. Soon after vicious and brutal murders take place in small towns throughout Maine. The victims are ripped apart by a mysterious creature that has an appetite for flesh and blood. With a full blitz of media and criticism towards the state police, Detective Sims and the Davis Inn owner, George, are on the path of solving the mystery and stopping this creature before it targets a young girl with virgin blood and a sweet taste of innocent youth.
Author Biography
Duane E. Coffill grew up in Freeport, Maine. He started writing when he was twelve. His favorite author is Stephen King. He has written many novels and short stories, including his soon to be released novel, "Nightbeast." He founded Horror Writers Of Maine in 2012. He has appeared on numerous podcasts and radio shows such as, "Positively Maine" at the Portland Radio Group. He currently resides in Windham, Maine with his beautiful family.
